R & B star Chris Brown Threatened Jail Four Years

R & B star Chris Brown is still on probation due to maul his ex-girlfriend Rihanna, is now involved in legal trouble again. He was charged with hit-and-run and driving without a valid driver's license.

Lawyers in the Los Angeles district attorney's office said the singer was giving false insurance information and refused to surrender his license after his car crashed into a Mercedes last month. If the allegation is proven, Brown could face a maximum of one year in prison.

The punishment will be much more severe if the judge decides that the case violated the terms of his parole. Brown also likely have to serve a sentence of four years in prison.

Brown himself in his Twitter account denied the incident. He did not do anything wrong and will clear his name. "It is not a hit and run if I get out of the car, exchanging information and there was no damage to their car. This is ridiculous," he said as reported by skynews (27/6).

"I have a valid driver's license and I give correct information to the woman. He saw the camera and wanted to make a fuss," he added.

Chris Brown considers her the car owner called the police and thought it would be a lot of money from it. "And I follow the correct procedure," he added.

Previously, Brown persecute ex-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 and filed a guilty plea in exchange of social work, probation for five years and domestic violence counseling.

Six months ago, he was also accused of getting into fights with singer Frank Ocean, due to problems in the parking lot outside the Hollywood studio. Police say Brown allegedly punched the victim but the case was canceled after Ocean decided not to report to police.
